Jade Melbourne – Basketball
One of Australia’s finest young talents who worked tirelessly, inspired by her love of basketball to achieve her basketball dreams at only 21 years of age. A valuable team member of The Washington Mystics in the WNBA Jade also plays for the Australian national team and represented Australia at the 2021 FIBA Women’s Asia Cup, where the team won the bronze medal. Jade gives back so much to basketball always offering to be part of junior development programs and we are thrilled to have Jade onboard the GRIP-X Crew. Instagram: @jade.melbourne

Lily Impey – Basketball
Young gun who recently represented Country VIC basketball at Nationals in 2023, AJBC in 2022 and playing VJBL Youth league at the age of 15. Her elite shooting and fast turn of foot on hard cut and drives has benefited from GRIP-X shoe grip spray. See Lilly in action in 2023/2024 with Wyndham Basketball and VIC state programs. Lizzie Brady – Pickleball
Lizzie Brady is a young gun in the fast growing world of Pickleball. Based in New Zealand, Lizzie had been chosen as a member in the team that are representing at the upcoming Pickleball World Cup held in Peru Oct 2024. Sara Houston – Wheel Chair Basketball
After making her first appearance for the Gliders in a series of friendlies against Japan, hosted at the AIS in 2021, Sara will be look to be a force to feared as Australia play for a spot at next year’s Paralympics in Paris; achieving a childhood dream. Seeing the progression Sara has made in the last three years is something special and we are keen to watch her as she takes GRIP-X to courts all across the world. Benjamin Moncrieff – Wheel Chair Basketball
An inspiring and passionate basketballer, Ben continues to travel the world; playing basketball this summer in the Euro league with an Italian team using GRIP-X on his tyres on slippery courts. Based in Perth, Ben is part of the Australian Spinners U23 Men’s national team, The Spinners, who represent Australia on the international stage. Instagram: @moxcrieff
Jacob Schueler – Badminton
Jacob Schueler (badminton) made his Commonwealth Games debut in Birmingham and reached the quarter finals in the men’s doubles. Growing up in Geelong, Jacob started playing badminton when he was 11 and made numerous Victorian junior teams until he was selected to represent Australia at the under-19 Pan Pacific titles in 2016. Jacob won the men’s singles at the Australian National Championships in 2019. Jacob was part of the Australian Institute of Sport Emerging talent squad. Instgram: @jacob.schueler17
Taylah Simmons – Basketball
Talented and versatile guard with a wide and varied basketball pedigree. Taylah was involved with the 2016 Victorian Youth Championship earning All Star 5 recognition. Spending time at Nunawading Basketball, then Wagner College in USA 2017-2019 (avg 15.3PTS @ 48.2%, 7.2 REB & 2.3 AST) before returning home to WNBL level with the Melbourne Boomers. Tim Ebbs – Volleyball
Tim’s journey with volleyball began as something he enjoyed doing with friends and quickly developed into an enduring passion. Tim was part of the Iona Talented Achievers Athlete Development Program (ITAP), mentored by dual Olympian volleyballer, David Beard. Tim has been selected for Volley Ball Australia 2024 Academy. AVA athletes learn and develop in a sport-specific training environment as they look to take the next step in their careers. We look forward to following Tim’s journey. Instagram: @tim.ebbs



Roor Akhuar – Basketball
Roor is an unbelievably talented 200cm foward recently named in the Vic Metro under-18 side for the 2024 national championships. That was quickly followed by receiving a scholarship for the Centre of Excellence. He has since been selected in the Australian under-17 team for the under-17 Basketball World Cup. Henry Kross – Squash
Junior sensation Henry Kross just lives and breathes Squash. Supported by an amazing family in regional NSW Henry continues to fine tune his craft and apply many hours towards health, strength and fitness. And it shows in his ranking as #1 in Australia for U15 age bracket. In 2024 Henry continues his busy schedule with Australian Junior Open, Oceania Championships & Trans Tasman Championships. Zac Mabilia – Netball
At just 18 years of age, Zac Mabilia has already made his mark on the world of men’s netball. Zac has steadily moved up the boys’ pathway to reach the Victorian Under 23 men’s team, Aust Men’s Under 20 team, and the 2024 Australia Men’s FAST5 team. It’s a jam-packed schedule, but 2025 is set to be even bigger for Mabilia. With high school out of the way, he’s looking to step up his netball game, with hopes of contesting the Open level at Nationals, and eventually making the main Kelpies team. Instagram: @zmabilia11

Kasper Cheung – Squash
Kasper is no stranger to playing internationally, having already competed aboard including tournaments in Hong Kong and the UK, while he was a member of Australia’s Trans Tasman teams. At age 15 Kasper Cheung will head to Houston for his first World Junior Championships in 2024 with his GRIP-X packed and a huge future in front of him. Instagram: @kasper_c08

Hugh Buckby – Basketball
Know as “highlight reel” Hugh makes the tough look easy with his athleticism, IQ and elite skills. Hugh was part of the U16 Boys Victoria Country team at the 2023 National Championships. With his ability to shot 3’s with accuracy, and a “grip & rip” drive to a spectacular dunk finish he’s got a bright future ahead. Instagram: @hugh.buckby



Tyler Garner – Futsal
Tyler has achieved the remarkable feat of winning every major trophy at the highest level in WA for both Futsal and Football in the same year. This includes leading his team to back-to-back championships in the Supa Liga Futsal, where his outstanding performance earned him the MVP award! Tyler also shined during Australia’s campaign at the recent ASEAN Futsal Championships in Thailand. Instagram: @tylergarner2
Ella Tofaeono – Basketball
At 190cm Ella is a powerhouse with a bag full of moves that leave defenders powerless. In her Fresham year at Midland College (2017-2018) Ella averaged 11.4 points and 6.5 rebounds per game, while shooting 58.3% from the field. As a senior Ella recorded a career high in points (35) and season high in rebounds (16). Ella exemPlaying with Geelong in session 2023 she was outstanding as a mentor for young girls in sport. Joanne Joseph – Squash
Joanne’s young career has gone from strength-to-strength in recent years, with a solid run of success which has included national team representation and taking out last year’s U17 Girls Oceania Junior Squash Championships. “When I was around 11 years old, I wrote a list of long-term goals that I wanted to reach in squash. One of my biggest goals was to play for Australia in the World’s Team. “I am so proud of where I have come today, and being able to put on the green and gold at a World level is so special.” Instagram: @joannej.squash

Chloe Hogg – Basketball
Leadership is what first comes to mind when talking about Chloe Hogg. On the court Chloe does what ever it takes for the team, wining scoring awards, defender awards and “All-Star 5” junior and youth league accolades in the Gippsland region capped of with a League MVP in 2021/22. Now also one of the best up and coming junior coaches Chloe turns her talent to grass roots development through to state coaching duties, giving back to the next generation of stars.
